Study on Additive Manufacturing of ABS Flame Retardant Wire

The composite flame retardant composed of Microencapsulated Red Phosphorus and aluminum hydroxide was used to study the retardancy ABS wire rod for additive manufacturing. Through detection material oxygen index, mechanical properties solution flow rate, results show that when ratio red phosphorus in microcapsule is 2:1 addition amount 27 phr, LOI 29.7, reaching UL94 V0, tensile strength 30.16Mpa, elongation at break 10.95%, impact 3.2Mpa, bending 45.5Mpa, rate 6.56g/10min. 3D printing smooth, product surface smooth good quality, which meets use requirements.
